Restaurants always want to save money but have a strong status quo bias when it comes to their front of house software even though most alternatives like Open Table charge cover fees. They have no urgency and avoid seeking alternatives because they deeply dislike the shopping experience and are hesitant to make any changes that may disrupt their day-to-day operations. My job was to develop a lighthearted, unboring, and human way to express that now is the time to save money and reach more guests by switching to Yelp Guest Manager.
Money Talks plays on famous quotes about finances and savings to show restaurant owners they’re losing much needed cash by not using YGM. Visually we captured their attention with the use of big and impactful typography alongside bold colors and fun iconography. Like Wu-Tang said, cash rules everything around me—we surpassed the total campaign goals and reached 139 SQL's & 47 CWs.
